Fee Schedule Tools
In the Procedure Codes window, click
the Tools button at the lower right.

This tool always acts on the fee schedule showing in the main window before you open the tools.
Increase by %
A typical scenario is that you want to increase your
fees by 5%.
1. In the Procedure Codes window, click Edit Names.
Add a new fee schedule named temp.
2. Highlight
temp in the list at the right. All fees will be empty.
3. Click Tools.
In the box above, use the copy from function. Select the fee schedule
that you want to increase. Click copy. Now you will have a 'backup'
of your fees in case something goes wrong.
4. Go back to the Procedure Codes window,
and highlight the fee schedule you want to increase. Click tools. Increase
by 5%, round to the nearest $1.
5. If nothing goes wrong, go back to Edit
Names, and hide the temp fee schedule.
Import/Export
This imports and exports fees, not including procedure descriptions. The
exported text file can be renamed from .txt to .xls, and then it will
open as a spreadsheet in Excel. There are two columns, codes and
fees, which are separated by tabs. If you are importing fees from
some external program, then the first two columns need to look the
same as when exporting. Do an export to get a feel for what they
look like. Then make your import file look the same before trying
to import.
Global Update Fees
Click the Update button.

This has a similar effect to going to each patient's Treatment
Plan module
and clicking the Update button at the top. But it's not quite as
comprehensive, since it doesn't update the insurance estimates. The
estimates can be updated from the Treatment Plan module, or automatically
when creating a claim.
