Practice Information Setup 

In the Main Menu, select Setup | Practice to bring up the following window:

The practice title can be the name of the dentist if there is only one dentist. The default provider will be used to assign a provider to new patients as well as to determine the standard fee schedule. The default insurance billing provider options help automate which provider gets set as the billing provider on Claims. This does not change the treating provider. You also always have the option to change the billing provider after the claim is created.

Practices that have multiple locations should use the Clinics feature. Assign each patient to the appropriate clinic, and make sure that the clinic field is correct in various places like Appointment, Procedure, and Claim. When claims are sent, it will automatically use the clinic address for the place of service, based on the clinic assigned to the claim. Then, use the Billing Address boxes above to ensure that the billing address will be different than the place of service address on each claim.

The bank deposit number is the bank account number that the deposits will be made to. It is used on the daily deposit slips.
