New Procedure Codes  

New users do not have to enter their own ADA codes from scratch. See the Procedure Code Tools page. The window below is usually only used in foreign countries.

From the Procedure Codes window, click the New Code button at the lower left.  If you don't see the New Code, then the Open Dental user that is logged in must not have enough Security permissions.

Use the "Type" list to pick which kind of code you want to enter.  This automates the settings on the right of this window.  Enter the procedure code, and edit the description and abbreviation.  Then click one of the Add buttons.  If you want to later edit the code you entered, you would do it from the Procedure Code Edit window.
